I like his expression but it seems he saw you taking his photo and was not too happy. LOL. Black and white works for this photo. I agree with Carlos that the top should be cropped some. The lighting appears very harsh which makes proper exposure very difficult. I don't feel the exposed areas are too much of a problem.
